Osinbajo has not taking over ASUU negotiation – Spokesman

Contrary to reports that  the Vice President of Nigeria -Yemi Osinbajo has taken over negotiation with Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), his spokesman, Laolu Akande has dismissed the report saying the Vice President has not taken over federal government’s negotiation with ASUU.

Mr. Laolu Akande, Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, made this known on Friday, in a message he posted on his twitter handle, @akandeoj.

“News reports that Vice President Osinbajo has taken over ASUU negotiations is untrue and inaccurate. Labour and Education Ministers will continue to lead the talks,” Akande wrote.
