Scientology has been described as a religion that provides a precise path leading to a complete and certain understanding of one’s true spiritual nature and one’s relationship to self, family, groups, Mankind, all life forms, the material universe, the spiritual universe and the Supreme Being.
It was founded by L. Ron Hubbard, in 1954 an American writer. Members are referred to as "Scientologists."
Their core beliefs are premised on the idea that man is an immortal, spiritual being living in a physical body and also that the spirit being of man is believed to have lived innumerable past lives.
Religious practices include: Auditing, Emotional Tone Scale Survival, the ARC and KRC triangles (this is seen in their logo) and a few others.
The point here is to know if its a religion as they claim or a glorified cult.
Some popular actors, writers, musicians are members of this Scientology .
